INSTRUCTIONS:

Uninstall any previous version completely or the activation will not work.

1. Burn or mount, install with AUTOPLAY (important).

Thank you. I downloaded and installed it and everything seems to be working. So what’s the trick? Every other release seems to need some kind of activator?

Installed quickly without need to crack, everything works great.

Worked perfectly, obviously doesn’t make a difference if you run x64 or x32, but this is just to answer some posts on this thread – I installed it without problem on x64 windows 7 ultimate.

UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT ACTIVATE ONLINE:

MAK are all used up! New instructions for permanent activation while waiting for the MAK key to be refilled:

When MAK online activations are all used up, activate Office through phone until the MAK is refilled.

INSTRUCTION FOR PHONE ACTIVATION:
1. Select “Activate by Telephone” when the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard starts.
2. In the Activation Wizard, select the country/ region where you reside and then the appropriate TOLL FREE telephone number will be displayed.
3. Write down the Installation ID which is generated when you choose to activate through the automated telephone system.
4. Use the phone number provided on your Activation Wizard screen to call the Microsoft Activation Center.
5. Now a pre-recorded voice (NO actual human being…) will guide you through the activation process.
6. After your Installation ID is verified, you will receive a Confirmation ID.
7. In the Activation Wizard, type the Confirmation ID in the spaces provided at the bottom of the screen, and then press Continue.
8. Done! You’ve successfully activated your copy of Office Professional Plus 2010!

Activation by telephone works- make sure you enter the code correctly on the phone, and select option 1, then 1 again! And last of all, BE PATIENT! It takes about 3 mins on the phone to go through the whole process!

If you are not successful in picking the options (for example you picked 2 instead of 1 after you entered the code), try again the next day, 24 hours later, I did that and it worked!

Defragmenting the hard drives on a system with the Windows XP operating system

Launch the Defragmenter Tool, either via

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools

or by double-clicking My Computer, right-clicking any hard disk drive, clicking Properties and selecting to Tools tab.

The resulting display will list your hard disk drives, showing the capacity and amount of free space for each.

Select the drive you want to defragment and click Analyse.

The drive is scanned and a visual representation of the degree to which it is fragmented displayed.

Depending on the the results of the analysis, you will be advised as to whether of not the volume should be defragmented.

Even if it’s not strictly necessary, you can choose to Defragment.

The length of time the defragmentation takes will depend on the size of the drive, the degree to which it’s fragmented and the amount of free space it has.

Be prepared to allow it to run for several hours, if necessary.

The dialogue box will indicate when the process is complete

and give a visual representation of the now defragmented drive.

Click View Report to see a defragmentation report.

How to make your Windows Faster

If your Windows XP system is running slowly or you’re having problems surfing the Internet, clear out some of Windows’ system caches. It’s easy to clean out the temporary Internet files cache, delete all Windows temporary files and clear the computer’s DNS cache to try to resolve system problems.

Step 1

Click the Windows “Start” button. Move your cursor to “Settings” and “Control Panel.” Double-click to open “Control Panel.”

Step 2

Double-click the “Internet Options” icon. Under “Temporary Internet Files,” click “Delete files.” Click “OK” to confirm. Click “OK” at the bottom of the Window. Once all files have been deleted, exit Control Panel.

Step 3

Select “Tools” and “Options” from the Firefox menu if you are using Mozilla Firefox as your Internet Browser. Click the “Network” tab. Click the “Clear Now” button in the “Cache” section.

Step 4

Press the “Start” button. Select “Run” from the menu. Type “cmd” in the Run box. At the prompt, type “ipconfig /flushdns.” You will receive confirmation when the command runs successfully. Type “exit” after the command has completed.

Step 5

Right-click the “Start” button. Choose “Explore” from the menu. Double-click the “C;” drive. Navigate to the “Windows” folder and open it. Search for the “Temp” folder and double-click it.

Step 6

Choose “Edit” from the menu. Click “Select All.” When all the temp files are highlighted, select “File” and “Delete” from the menu. Click “Yes” to verify that you want to delete all the files.
